English as a Second Language (ESL) Classes
We offer 10 weeks of English classes starting each September and January. All are welcome.
Most Fall 2026 classes will be in person at First Presbyterian Church, 601 North Vermont Street (at North Carlin Springs Road, in the Ballston neighborhood of Arlington).
Students can study at the Beginning, Intermediate or Advanced level.
Students can register for either Monday/Thursday classes, Saturday classes, or both.
Register online beginning August 24, or in person September 10 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
Fall 2026 classes will be held as follows:

Monday and Thursday classes, 7 pm to 9 pm, September 14 to November 19.
Cost is $20 for the semester. (All these classes are in person.) -
Saturday classes, 10 am to noon, September 19 to November 21.
Cost is $10 for the semester.
(Intermediate & Advanced are on Zoom, requiring a computer or smartphone.) -
Monday and Thursday and Saturday classes; cost is $25 total.
