"Jesus said, ‘Let the children come to me and do not stop them,
because the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.’”  (Matthew 19:14)

Nursery Care (4 and under)

Children of all ages are always welcome in worship services. Childcare is also available in our cheery Nursery, Room 101 where children 3 years old and under are supervised by our professional caregivers. We provide parents and guardians with silent pagers by which you can be contacted during the worship service if your child needs your attention.

Sunday school classes are from 9:45 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.

each Sunday, unless specified otherwise, during the school

year (September to November and January to May).

Worship Opportunities for Kids

  • Worship Bags

    • During both services, children can pick up coloring pages, Worship Bags with children's bulletins and other fun things to help aid children in worship. Our activities are based on the scripture for that day.

  • Time with Children

    • During the 11 a.m. service, children are invited to come forward for a special lesson during the Time with Children.

  • Help Lead Worship @ 11am

    • Each Sunday we aim to have children participate in worship. We have a variety of roles we hope children will jump into each week. Reach out to the Director of Children and Youth Ministry, Hannah Day Donoghue at Hannah@fpcarlington.org with questions.

Church-Wide Events

Many church-wide events include a special focus for children. Children regularly provide leadership for special services at Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter, and summer worship. We also have fellowship and service opportunities for families and children to grow in relationship.

Upcoming Events:

4/14 Family Picnic and Games on

the Lawn (families with pre-k to

5th grade)
