"Jesus said, ‘Let the children come to me and do not stop them,
because the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.’” (Matthew 19:14)
Nursery Care (Babies & Toddlers)
Children of all ages are always welcome in worship services. Childcare is also available in our cheery Nursery, Room 101 where children are supervised by our professional caregivers. We provide parents and guardians with silent pagers by which you can be contacted during the worship service if your child needs your attention.
Sunday School
Sunday school classes are from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. each Sunday, unless specified otherwise, during the school year (September through May).

Children's Sunday School
-
Children 4 years old through 5th grade meet upstairs. From 10-10:45, children meet in their respective (Pre-k and Kindergarten, 1-2nd Grade, 3-5th Grade) classrooms.
-
We use Whirl! Lectionary curriculum and materials to guide our explorations of Bible stories. The children read from age-appropriate Bibles and interact with the stories through games, discussions, crafts, and prayer. This curriculum follows the lectionary, which is also preached on during worship.

Bridges to Worship
-
After the children's sermon, those children ages preschool through first grade may join Bridges to Worship. This program connects picture books to the days scripture reading. We then collect an "offering", a time when children decide what they would like to offer people in their lives to make them smile. We end with a craft, a game, or enjoy other books before returning to worship in time for the final hymn.

Church-Wide Events
Many church-wide events include a special focus for children. Children regularly provide leadership for special services at Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter, and summer worship, as well as serving as liturgists throughout the year. Children are always welcome and encouraged to attend outreach, mission, and fellowship events as well.
