Again, truly I tell you, if two of you agree on earth about anything you ask, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.
Matthew 18:19-20

Fellowship at First Presbyterian Church is the opportunity to meet and greet new visitors and longtime friends. We meet for coffee after the Worship Services and share potluck meals during special times of the year. We meet in small groups during the week, picnic outside, and travel together to see baseball games and sights around the area. You are always welcome at First Presbyterian Church.

Church members and guests attend one of our annual potluck dinners.

From the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) Book of Order:
G-1.0102 The Fellowship of the Congregation. The polity of the PCUSA presupposes the fellowship of women, men and children united in covenant relationships with one another and with God through Jesus Christ. The organization rests on the fellowship and is not designed to work without trust and love.
G-1.0302 Welcome and Openness. A congregation shall welcome all persons who trust in God’s grace in Jesus Christ and desire to become part of the fellowship and ministry of his Church.
F-1.0304 The Great Ends of the Church are:
…the shelter, nurture and spiritual fellowship of the children of God.

Children's and Youth Ministry

Take a few moments to check out a PHOTO SLIDESHOW of the Summer 2014 Youth and Middle School Mission Trip. Five middle and high school girls were ready for a mission adventure. The experience depended their faith, broadened their perspective as compared to their own lives, opened their hearts and the girls were inspired by volunteers that were committed to making a difference.

At First Church, we partner with families to guide and nurture children and youth, providing plenty of ways to encourage kids to know and follow Jesus Christ and be faithful members of his church. Learn how we approach spiritual development of children and youth at Children's Ministry and Youth Ministry.
