First Presbyterian Church of Arlington is a member of the
Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and the National Capital Presbytery.
Our mission is to: |

- INVITE the world into the church to seek and worship God, be formed in faith, and be nurtured by the congregation;
- EMPOWER the people to live God's love through Jesus Christ; and
- EMBODY God's grace in deeds of justice and compassion.

We are a congregation of approximately 400 members.
The church’s governing body is the session, supported by the Board of Deacons and the Board of Trustees.
We provide many opportunities for spiritual growth and application of talents, including: |

- Christian education for all ages
- Vocal and bell choirs for children and adults
- Community and international mission
- Canned food collection
- Bagged meals for homeless
- Habitat for Humanity
- International mission trip
- Vacation bible school
- Alternative Christmas gift fair
- Missionary support
- Group activities for children, youth, young adults, mature members, families, and shared interests (e.g., Small Groups, movie night)
- Supporting church administration, facilities, and finance
